Retro Graphis is a review of selected articles from my personnal collection of vintage Graphis magazine. I fell in love with these issues, when I started my first job as a graphic designer. The studio, created during the end of the 1960′ owned some old copies, cutted in pieces and quite damaged (some without any cover). I saved the few things, 3 issues and 2 Annuals, from the garbage and started collecting Graphis materials.
I’m quite lucky to have more than 70 issues from 1963 to 1973 and more. You can have a look at a small part of the set in my Flickr gallery. If you want to see a particular issue, drop a comment. Anyway, I will complete the set with my entire collection and pick some interesting articles. Graphis Annual will be reviewed like others books, in the appropriate category. And sure, every issue will be sourced like every publication: Graphis press was so famous that every honest bookseller can easily found some material.
