Domenico Gnoli was born in Rome in 1933. His artistic training consisted of just three day in the Academia di Belle Arti, Rome, after wich he began to design costumes and settings for theatrical productions in Italy and elsewhere. Since 1955 he has concentrated more on his drawings and paintings, wich have been exhibited in numerous one-man shows and have been published in leading magazines in Europe and America. He has also illustrated two children’s books.
